Cookie Policy
What cookies and similar technologies this website uses — and how we keep tracking to a minimum.
Last updated: 9 August 2026
1. The short version
We keep tracking to a minimum. This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don’t build a profile of you. The only things stored on your device are those strictly necessary to serve the site securely and to remember your cookie choice, plus — only if you accept — privacy-friendly, cookieless usage analytics.
2. What a cookie is
A “cookie” is a small text file a website can store on your device. “Similar technologies” include your browser’s local storage, which works in much the same way. Where this policy says “cookies”, we mean both.
3. What we use
| Name / technology | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cookie-consent choice (browser local storage) | Strictly necessary | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don’t ask again on every page. Set only once you make a choice. | Until you clear it |
| Netlify hosting (essential) | Strictly necessary | Our host, Netlify, may set essential cookies required to serve the site securely and to process the contact form when you submit it. | Session / short-lived |
| Cloudflare Web Analytics | Analytics (optional) | Anonymous, aggregated visitor statistics. It is cookieless — it does not set cookies or identify you — and is loaded only after you accept. Decline and it is never loaded. | No cookie set |
| Campaign attribution (browser session storage) |
Strictly necessary | If you reach us from an advert or a shared link, the campaign tags already in that web address are held for your current tab and passed to our own signup page, so a trial can be credited to the campaign that brought you. It is first-party only: nothing is sent to an advertising network, no profile is built, and no cookie is set. | Cleared when you close the tab |
We do not use advertising, remarketing, social-media or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not load advertising pixels, and we do not share your browsing with advertising platforms. Where we measure whether an advert worked, we do it with the first-party campaign tags described above and nothing else.
4. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline the optional analytics. Strictly-necessary items don’t require consent because the site can’t function securely without them. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser settings, then reloading the page to be asked again. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies entirely — though some parts of sites may not work as intended if you do.
5. The chat assistant
The on-site chat assistant does not set tracking cookies. What you type is sent to our AI provider solely to generate a reply, and only passed to us if you choose to leave your email. Please don’t share sensitive personal or financial details in the chat. See our Privacy Policy for more.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
